Separate collection of legacy devices
Electrical and electronic equipment, which have become waste after their use, are called old equipment. Owners of old appliances have to provide them with a separate collection of unsorted municipal waste. In particular, old devices do not belong in the household waste but in special collection and return systems.

To identify such old electrical appliances, the products themselves or their packaging are marked with this symbol:

Waste batteries and accumulators that are not enclosed by the old device should be disconnected from the old device before delivery to a collection point.

Ways to return legacy devices
Owners of old devices from private households can return them directly to the collection points of the public waste disposal carriers or to the seller or manufacturer. To dispose of the old device with us, you can send it to the following address:

Separate collection of used batteries
As a manufacturer and distributor of batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act (BattG) to point out the following:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You as the end user are legally required to return used batteries.

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

• The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the battery should not be disposed of with household waste.
• Pb = battery contains more than 0.004% by weight lead
• Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium
• Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% by mass of mercury.

Waste batteries may contain harmful substances which, if not properly stored or disposed of, could damage the environment or your health. But batteries also contain important raw materials such as Iron, zinc, manganese or nickel and can be recycled.

Possibilities of returning used batteries
After use, you can return used batteries either free of charge in the immediate vicinity or send them back to us. The sale in points of sale is limited to end user customary amounts and such waste batteries that leads the distributor as new batteries in his assortment or led.
