TYFOCOR GE is a clear, green colored, almost odorless liquid based on ethylene glycol. The product is miscible with water in any ratio and imparts frost protection down to -51 °C, depending on the concentration. Mixtures of TYFOCOR GE and water do not segregate.
The corrosion inhibitors of TYFOCOR GE provide long-lasting and reliable protection against corrosion, aging and incrustation for all metal materials commonly used in heat pump technology, even in mixed installations. An upper limit of 60 °C must be observed for the operating temperature of the heat pump brine. The inhibitor system of TYFOCOR GE contains no amine, no borax, no nitrite, no phosphate and no triazoles.
